I am the DarkestAngel, The Fairness Fairy, and I have been called an evil genius from time to time. I thought it was about time I wrote a blog.

I probably shouldn’t, but I’ll tell you a bit about myself.

I’m 32 years old. I am a single parent of 3 wonderful children and I wouldn’t be without them, they are my whole world. I am a survivor of domestic violence (10 years free). Those are the things I am most passionate about. You mess with them, you mess with me 🙂

I intend to write about what’s going on in the world at the moment, or at least in this country. It’s quite hectic right now, what with this excuse for a government ruling over us, but I will try my best to write intelligently and not rant all the time.

Just want to note that I am fighting the cuts for my children. They are unable to fight themselves. I also fight for my parents and many disabled friends.

  1. I LOVE this blog! Please keep writing- it reflects so many of my experiences and is also a real inspiration.

  2. I hope you don’t mind me contacting you. I am one of the Assistant Producers on the BBC1 debate show, The Big Questions. We are doing a debate surrounding the benefits cap asking ‘Should benefits be capped at 26k? I was hoping to discuss the question with you and see if you would potentially be interested in taking part in the programme in Southampton on Sunday 5th February.

Just to give you some background on the programme, ‘The Big Questions’ is BBC1’s flagship live moral and ethical debate show presented by Nicky Campbell. Each week, ethical or moral questions are discussed which are connected to the week’s news headlines. If you would like to see an example of the show follow this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007zpll

The Big Questions is broadcast on BBC1 between 10am and 11am on a Sunday morning the viewing figures for last series are between 1 and 1.5 million. As with the last series, we move around the country. If the question goes ahead and you are interested in coming on, we would need you to be at the location in Southampton at 8.45am. We will of course provide transportation and accommodation if required.

Please let me know if you have any questions, I look forward to hearing from you,

    With kind regards
